Sol Adventure specializes in Christian Spanish immersion trips to Latin America that build cross cultural confidence through Spanish lessons, community service, and adventure travel activities. Our trips are for students who want to grow in their relationship with God, learn Spanish, and serve others.
There are different ways students, teachers, parents, and others can get involved:
#1 Student Open Enrollment
High school students sign up for a trip to Costa Rica or Ecuador.
#2 Teacher Organized
Teachers get their own group together and we coordinate the trip. This option is flexible and open to any type of group.
#3 Parent Student Duo
Take mom or dad along for some bonding time abroad.
#4 Gap year
We offer free consultation and guidance to travelers, mostly college students, taking a break from school or jobs who want to learn Spanish, work, or volunteer in Latin America.
Two reasons for students to get involved:
#1 Learning Spanish opens new worlds of understanding. The advantage to learning Spanish abroad is that students learn appropriate pronunciation when immersed in Latin American culture and get motivated by seeing the language in context.
#2 Students grow in their relationship with God and each other through Bible study, serving local children in a day camp, and facing new adventures together. Students come back transformed and with a renewed appreciation for all that God has done in their lives.
