Below is a video of a community tourism project in the village of Campana Cocha that Sol Adventure helped start and where we will spend two nights.
Trip Description:Students help organize camp for the children in the town of Perucho. Travel activities include going to the Quichua village of Campana Cocha in the Amazon basin near Tena, visiting the arts and crafts market in Otavalo, hiking to Mojanda lake, visiting hot springs of Papallacta, and doing the zip line and ropes course at El Refugio Camp.
Most nights will be spent on an acreage in Perucho in shared quarters as pictured below.
